Nah, it'll be even worse if that's possible. Live service game where you are encouraged to buy lootboxes containing randomized cosmetics. You gotta have a subscription active, and be playing with three friends, in order to access exclusive missions. Shepard is only unlockable after either beating the main story campaign 12 times, or paying $19.99, and even then its just a skin for your MC.
