This is par for the course now-a-days. Supervisors/Managers give zero fucks when it comes to letting go of a person and how they do it. If you got hired through a temp agency, even though they say they will let the temp agency know about letting you go, they don't, or if they do it's literally the last minute. In the beginning of Corona, people were getting fired left and right in Zoom meetings.
